GN 114.3 push button rapid release pins are used for quick fixing, connecting and locking of various jig and fixture systems. A typical application is locating pins which must be removed and re-placed frequently.
The two securing pins can be retracted by pressing the button; when it is released, the pins will once again return to the secure position.
The rectangular shape of the stainless steel securing pins creates a linear contact area which increases axial shear strength.
Axial load values in the table at shear stress are theoretically obtained and indicative only without taking safety factors into account.
Split ring GN 111 with various lengths of chain is available to prevent loss or misplacement of the ball lock pin.
