Lever: Steel, blackened
Screw/cam: Steel, case hardened, HRC 56 +/- 1
Ball knob: Plastic, black (see DIN 319)

GN 418.1 cam point levers have the same manner of operating as GN 418 cam point screws.
The ball-type handle is connected to the cam point lever via a serration, allowing the correct clamping position to be set and the lever to be readjusted. The F clamping forces given in the table refer to the maximum permitted tightening torque and the specified screw-in depth t.
