 Information
GN 831.1 toggle latches are used for the secure holding of flaps, container lids, etc. They lock securely over the center and are thus vibration proof.
The stroke w1 of the latch hook can pull the parts to be clamped together by up to 15 mm. The range w2 can be adjusted on the M6 threaded spindle of the latch hook.
The load specified in the table is simply a guideline value for the nominal static pulling force the latch can withstand. The holding capacity can be adversely affected by the conditions under which the latch is used, such as vibration or shock loads.
