GN 295 installation kits are used to fit linear actuators with position indicators.
An installation kit consists of an adaptor shaft and a torque-limiting contact block.
Retrofitting is possible. Remove the wheel, mount the kit, and put the wheel back in place. For linear actuator units with 60 mm diameter, the plastic cover on the attachment side must be removed before assembly.
As a rule, a counter is chosen that matches the pitch of the trapezoidal thread on the lead spindle to show the readout required per complete revolution.
