Types of materials available for replacement faces:
Plastic (polycarbonate) - especially recommended for
pre-
vention of dents in the pieces.
Rubber - ideal for hammers used on pieces that require
softer impact in order to avoid damage to hammered
surfaces.
Aluminum - machined from solid bar, recommended for
less
demanding uses.
Copper - ideal for delicate pieces that require a substantial
power of impact, without damaging the surface.

Impact resistant, cast iron body for heavy-duty perfor-
mance. Eye allows handle insertion with practical locking
that prevents unthreading.
Material used for production of plastic spare parts is
porous and can absorb airborne particles caused by
paints, use of acids, etc. As a result, the handle may
become fragile. |
