Cam latches GN 218 are
available as right or left hand
models, dependent on how the door should be locked
(i.e. in a right or left hand mode). The above illustrations are shown in a left hand mode. In addition to the example shown above using a circlip, a spring or other plastic part
can be built in between the door and the latch. This will
stiffen the locking action and also simplify assembly.
