Handwheel body: Pressed 304 stainless steel, shot blasted satin finish
Hub: Stainless steel, welded to body
Revolving handle: Phenolic plastic with stainless steel screw and stem, similar to GN 598.1

No mounting hole in handwheel rim for handwheel without handle.

The GN 227.2 handwheel is often used where a noncorrosive handwheel is necessary, such as in the food industry. They are renowned for their high mechanical strength and are not affected by shock and knocks. They are of an attractive design and shape at a reasonable cost.
Special through bores and square broached holes larger than listed also available upon request.
Modifications such as keyways, set screw holes and
cross holes also available upon request.
