Handwheel body: Aluminum, gravity die-cast
Contact face of hub machined
Inner spokes: Matte gray shot blasted satin finish
Handwheel rim: Turned and highly polished on all sides, rim is concentric and square to bore
Type R revolving handle (as in photo and line drawing above): Matte black nylon plastic hand piece with zinc plated steel threaded spindle, GN 798.3 series
Type D revolving handle: Matte black nylon plastic hand piece with zinc plated steel threaded spindle, GN 598.3 series

Handwheels GN 322.3 with retractable handle GN 598.3 are suitable for applications where the handle should occasionally be withdrawn.
These handwheels have the distinguishing features where the handle and the retracting mechanism are completely encased within the rim of the wheel.
In the operating position, the handle is secured by a taper detent. To fold it down, it is drawn out from the tapered recess. A compression spring secures the handle in either position.

Special inch and metric bores are available upon request.
Other modifications such as keyways, set screw holes, etc. available upon request.
