Designing machinery may not be the most artistic pursuit in the world, but sometimes the issue of color can be essential even in industrial design. A number of our metal parts can be produced in a variety of colors using a powder coating process.
JW Winco has its own in-house machining facility; this provides an advantage for our customers to take an idea and create a unique customized solution through the choice of using one of our standard parts.
GN 139.1 Hinges with Integrated Safety Switches have been designed for use on monitoring doors and covers of machines and equipment. Opening the door activates the switch contacts. This causes an interruption in a protective circuit via broken contact (NC) and at the same time signals the door opening by closing a normally open contact element (NO).
The contact blocks are fitted with positive opening slow-action contacts, i.e. they will definitely be separated when activated and have no hysteresis. The angle at which the switching points are reached is adjustable (see diagram under "Contact termination." Together with the integrated contact blocks, the hinges are a compact, easy-to-mount unit with an attractive design. The mounting from the back makes the hinge particularly tamper-proof.
