Ball jointed leveling feet GN 638 are a low cost solution for clamping operations or for load bearing purposes. The stainless steel version is preferred for applications in more aggressive environments or with higher loads.
The ball diameter d3 is smaller than the diameter of the threaded stud, allowing them to be screwed into position from the ball side. It is easy to press the ball end of the grub screw into the thrust pad by hand, and it’s also easily dismantled.
