Cam latches GN 115.10 are used in applications that require a molded recess in addition to the latching mechanism, e.g. if operating elements are not allowed to protrude for reasons of space.
They lock by a turning operation limited to 90° which moves the latch arm in the locked position behind the door frame. The bevels of the latch arm ease the closing of the door.
Latch arms are available with different bend angles to cover a latch arm distance A from 4 to 50 mm.
Product comes supplied with a loosely enclosed latch arm.
The socket key latches the latch arm and provides security from accidentally opening but does not lock the arm in place.
A socket key is not included.

For installation, set a recess in the door, cover or hatch as shown in the outline drawing. Depending on the position of the cam latch, the 18.5 mm edge spacing between the frame and the hole must be verified sideways and / or from top to bottom, to make sure that the latch arm is positioned behind the frame. |

For assembly, insert the pre-assembled cam latch, on the front frame, through the front of the hole in the door, by tilting. Place the plastic tray from the back onto the threaded bore pegs on the front frame. The included M4x12 fillister head screws are then threaded in from the back and |
