GN 429 are now DGUV Test certified

DGUV Test is the testing and certification network of the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance). It brings together testing and certification bodies that are part of German social accident insurance institutions, DGUV institutes and the DGUV itself.

The testing and certification bodies’ activities support the social accident insurance institutions in their fulfillment of their legal mandate to ensure the prevention of occupational accidents and disease as well as work-related health risks by taking all suitable measures. They do this by testing/assessing and certifying particularly safety-relevant aspects of products, quality management systems and persons.

The testing and certification bodies that make up DGUV Test are located across Germany and affiliated with the DGUV’s expert committees and institutes. Since they each specialise in specific sectors and fields, the services they offer differ.

DGUV Test’s service scope includes:

• Testing and certification of products
  • Awarding of certification marks (GS, DGUV Test and EuroTest marks)
  • Issuing of EU/EC conformity certificates
  • Issuing of type examination certificates
• Assessment and certification of quality management systems
• Testing and certification of persons
