March 23, 2020 - JW Winco USA
To Whom it May Concern:
As our local communities paired with state and national governments come together to slow the spread of COVID-19, the President issued updated Coronavirus Guidance for America. This guidance states that:
“If you work in a critical infrastructure industry as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule”.
As such, we find it necessary to inform you that JW Winco provides goods to one or more of the 16 Critical Infrastructure Sectors identified by CISA under the Department of Homeland Security. Based on the critical industries served by JW Winco, including food processing, packaging, pharmaceutical production and fulfillment, Medical Device and Equipment manufacturing, as well as, unique Department of Defense production requirements, JW Winco meets the requirements established by CISA on March 19, 2020 as an essential business. As a result, our subsidiaries, partners, suppliers, and vendors are also a part of this critical infrastructure network and are deemed “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers.”
In addition, this decision is supported by multiple letters from our key customers who have already deemed us essential and require JW Winco as an essential supplier to maintain our business operations so they may maintain their business operations.
Of course, we do not ask that business or workers take unnecessary risks to keep the supply chain active, but rather, we wish to highlight the critical nature our company plays in providing the products and services that Americans depend on daily.
We continue to deliver our products and services to support your industries as best as we can.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact at sales@jwwinco.com
Sincerely,
Mark Winkler

JW Winco Letter Regarding COVID-19 on March 17, 2020 - JW Winco
To our valued customers, business partners and distributors,
Our hearts and thoughts go out to all who have been affected by this unprecedented Coronavirus pandemic. We appreciate the healthcare workers and their suppliers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working around the clock to slow down and minimize the spread of COVID-19 and save lives.
Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and have communicated precautions and regulations to our staff, so they stay accurately informed and take necessary precautions and adhere to regulations imposed by the CDC, Federal, State and local municipalities.
We have instituted strict travel restrictions, restrictions on visitors to our company, social distancing and quarantine rules to protect our facility and our associates.
We have asked associates to practice thorough hand washing and sanitizing, avoid touching their face, avoid close contact, stay home when sick, clean and disinfect workstations and frequently touched surfaces.
Our company is working together with its suppliers, in-house and external manufacturing and logistics partners to minimize the impact of any supply or service interruptions. While port closures, airline cancellations or cargo rescheduling is outside our control, we are investigating alternate logistic routes and working to increase our inventory to overcome longer or interrupted lead times, as much as we can.
We will do our best to keep you informed if any items on your purchase orders are delayed. We will recommend alternative product choices in case the delay might have an adverse effect on your delivery and/or production requirements.
We are thankful for your past business and we are committed to providing you the best service and quality standard parts now and in the future.
We appreciate the opportunity to work together. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Sincerely,
Our entire Executive Team and Ownership Group
