Product description

Rapid release pins GN 114.2 are used for rapid connecting and securing of components or workpieces. A typical application is locating pins that have to regularly be moved in and out of position.

The rectangular pawls made of stainless steel sheet metal keep the shank pin in an axial position in the bore. The shank pin can be inserted or retracted by pressing the button releasing the pawls from their secured locked-out position, once the button is released, the pawls return to their original position.

The technical section contains the load ratings for the double shear strength (breaking strength).

The load capacities specified in the table for the double shear strength (breaking strength) have been calculated or theoretically determined in accordance with DIN 50141.

The endangered bolt cross-section S was considered in two shear planes until breakage, according to the sketch shown opposite.

The details given on load capacity are non-binding guide values without any liability. In general, they do not constitute a warranty of quality. The user must determine from case to case if a product is suitable for the application. Ambient influences may affect the specified values.

An appropriate safety factor must be taken into account in the design.
