Breather Valves GN 881

Product description

Once the opening pressure specified in the table is exceeded, breather valves GN 881 will vent a container, preventing excessive internal container pressure. A green colored ring marks the opening pressure of 200 mbar.

In its normal state, the gasket seals the container and prevents contamination of the interior from outside (e.g. dust).

The diagram above shows the air outlet as a function of the opening pressure. The recommended installation position is vertically upwards.

The breather valves are checked for leak tightness and opening pressure.

Assembly note:
For wall thicknesses below 4 mm, use thin hex nuts GN 7430.
