The clamping nut of GN 782 axial ball joints can be set to give a required thrust on the Belleville spring washers in order to increase the resistance to the ball movement.
Meanwhile, the Belleville spring washers act as safety washers for the screws.
Once the maximum thrust to the Belleville spring washers is achieved, the ball arm is firmly immobilized in position over the clamping nut and screw.
An excellent choice for mounting sensors requiring exact positioning or frequent adjustments of varied positions.
The maximum tightening torque specified in the table may not be exceeded.
